Chasing the call of God in our lives begins with a true surrender.

This past year, we surrendered our entire mission in prayer during the 21 Days of Prayer—which we will host again Jan. 6 through Jan. 27, 2022 (more info at newmissons.org/prayer). Looking back on 2021, we saw God at work in the midst of unplanned events and uncertainty in the world.

Because of you, we are seeing lives changed with the gift of education.

We rejoice in the accomplishments of building churches in Chateau, Vieux Court and Flonc, Haiti. New school buildings were also built in Bire and Masson including a dining hall with kitchen in Masson and a kitchen in Leogane. Thankfully, we were also able to drill two wells in the Dominican Republic. Most of all, baptism festivals took place in both countries and our churches sent out missionaries to reach their own people.

Construction of churches, schools, and kitchens are possible because of your generosity.

Providing clean drinking water by drilling wells helps families in Haiti and the Dominican Republic.

My heart is overwhelmed by you and your faithful generosity to New Missions. I am reminded that Jesus is the only hope for our world. This Christmas, may you be reminded of this truth found in John 1:4, “In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.” I thank God for you, and pray you and your family have an abundance of God’s peace and love this Christmas. ~Tim DeTellis
