Bible College Students
// Tim DeTellis
Our very first church was pastored by Guy Fontaine.
He was from Port-au-Prince, and my father invited him to move to Neply, Haiti, and live in the same village as the church. This was essential for discipleship and church leadership. As the years passed, the position of pastor was given to men who grew up at our mission school and then stepped into the role of pastoring. Thankfully, we had a Bible college established in 1995 to invite graduates of our high school to attend and develop into church leaders.
Our Bible college, Royal Caribbean Institute, is equipping graduates of New Missions for leadership roles.
From classes such as Church History and Survey of the Old Testament, our students are well educated.
Currently, our Bible college, Royal Caribbean Institute, has a purpose to support our local churches with a two-year training program for church leaders, pastors, and individuals called into the ministry. The Bible college meets at our Signeau high school campus. The attendees are nominated by our local churches and pastors. The director is Simon Sibert who also graduated from our Bible college. Today, 36 students are in attendance, and we pray for God’s continued guidance on their calling into ministry.
Our Bible college director, Simon Sibert, stands with honor to help develop Christian leaders.
Thanks to a financial gift from a partner church, our Bible college gives our students full scholarships. From child sponsorships to medical care and support for higher education, we thank you for your generosity and prayers. ~Tim DeTellis
