Hector Martinez, a well-respected Christian lawyer and the father of three students at Colegio Nueva Vida, was inspired to start teaching part-time after completing a teaching certificate course.
Drawn by our school’s Christian values and child sponsorship program, he volunteered to teach the high school civics course. For the past six years, we have been fortunate to have him in this role.
Hector recently participated in a special seminar by the Association of Christian Schools that was hosted by Colegio Nueva Vida.
Known as Professor Hector, he is loved and respected by his students. As both a Christian and a professional, Hector leads by example—encouraging his children and students to follow Christ. Recently, he played a pivotal role in encouraging a graduating senior, uncertain about his future, to pursue university studies and secure a brighter future. He also deeply values the opportunity to teach his children at home and to play an active role in their educational journey at school.
