In Psalm 133:1, we read, “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!”

Recently, we had the joy of hosting our very first churchwide retreat. Members from all four of our churches gathered for this one-day event held at a beautiful spot near Sosua. It was a day to step away from the busyness of daily life, share in fellowship, and connect with members of other congregations.

Our church members enjoyed splitting up into small groups to discuss what they had learned during the retreat sessions.

The day kicked off with fun games and prize giveaways, followed by a time of praise and worship led by our youth musicians. The retreat’s theme, The Effects of Social Media in God’s Family, provided both adults and teenagers the opportunity to explore the negative impacts of social media and learn how to live in a way that points others to Christ rather than ourselves. We are grateful to the team from Clements Baptist Church, along with some of our teens, for their help in caring for the children throughout the day. Please join us in continuing to pray for the spiritual growth and unity of our church families. ~Heather Williams Katz
