Once a student himself, Jameson Verdry is now a teacher at the New Missions school in Concrab, Haiti. His son, Kervenson, attends the same school in Concrab.

Valliere Eslene has a similar story as today her son attends school where she is a school teacher. The longevity in ministry has given us deeper roots in communities, and graduates of New Missions are leading locally. Thankfully, we can rely more on internal recruitment for our staffing needs.

Greetings from Concrab, Haiti. Together, we are raising a generation of Christian leaders.

My father in-law worked for the Publix grocery store chain as a district manager. Publix has an internal culture to promote from within. If you want to manage a grocery store, you have to be promoted up the ranks. Stories of cashiers who are now store managers are common. At New Missions, we also seek to promote from within. This provides vital training and understanding of our values and mission systems and procedures. From our warehouse manager in Haiti to nurses, teachers, photographers, translators, and pastors…we are seeing our graduates leading the mission forward.

Jameson Verdry is a graduate and school teacher at the New Missions school in Concrab where his son attends school.

Valliere Eslene sees hope for each student because she was once a student and is now a school teacher. Pray for the 383 school teachers serving at New Missions for the 2022-2023 school year.

Without exception, a teacher who grew up attending a New Missions school and is now leading a classroom has a strong passion to share hope and educate this next generation. Pray for our teachers during this 2022-2023 school year. Because of your support 383 teachers are employed at New Missions. ~Tim DeTellis
