We recently organized a mini retreat for the directors and assistant directors of our schools, churches, and health center.
We hosted the event in the beautiful mountains of the Dominican Republic—which allowed our leaders to disconnect for the day and be refreshed and renewed. During this day, we had various team building exercises to help our team grow closer together. We shared encouraging words with them and listened to their thoughts and needs. In the past few months, we have seen God working in amazing ways; we want our leaders to remain unified.
Our directors enjoyed their day away to share their challenges, triumphs, and words of encouragement with each other.
Each of our directors and assistant directors are doing an excellent job, but they encounter many challenges in their work. I am constantly amazed at how they so capably manage these difficult situations. I ask you to pray for each of our school directors (Daniel, Bethania, Keyla, Jendry, Vilenny and Xiomara), church director (Arismendy) and health center director (Jennifer). Pray for their physical, mental, and spiritual health as they minister to children, parents, patients, and the community. Pray for continued unity as we work together to raise a generation of Christian leaders. ~Heather Williams Katz
