Have you ever attended an exciting sporting event that had you on the edge of your seat?

That’s how life seems with New Missions in the Dominican Republic. Here’s a play-by-play of current events.

Our Assistant School Director, Jendry, provides a luncheon for our staff at the Financial Success Seminar.

We have Saturday morning Bible clubs at three campuses. Our amazing leaders make learning the Bible fun for kids. At Colegio Nueva Vida, our Leaders for Christ high school group travels to rural public schools sharing the Gospel of Christ through VBS programs. Currently, we offer English classes for our surrounding church community at Los Castillos. These classes are led by the director of our high school, and have been received with a huge amount of enthusiasm.

Students from Foundation Academy in Winter Garden, FL, helping DR students become more proficient in English.

Want more? The newly assembled Colegio Nueva Vida boys’ basketball team won their first tournament against teams from all over the island. We just concluded with two mission teams from Florida and Georgia, respectively. They were a blessing to our staff and students, as they encouraged them in their walk with Christ.

The mission team from New Providence Baptist in Macon, GA, sorts clothing to be shared with our church communities.

That’s just a glimpse of what God is doing here in the DR. We are not on the sidelines watching. Through your prayers, financial support, and child sponsorship you’re in the game with us—spreading the Gospel to the island of Hispaniola! ~Rob Arms
