A short time ago, we were able to host a special finance seminar for some of our employees in the Dominican Republic.
We decided to host this class because we wanted to help them succeed in their lives and learn how to manage their money. The Bible talks about money very often as it is no doubt something that every human struggles to manage with a Biblical mindset.
Our panel shared their personal experiences about learning how to manage money in a way that is pleasing to God.
We created a panel with three of our employees to share their experiences in getting out of debt and learning how to save money. The class was extremely helpful for our employees and many of them reported that this class helped them recognize how they were spending money on unnecessary items. They also learned practical ways to evaluate their spending and set a budget to meet their financial goals. Each of the participants received a book and workbook to help them in their journey to get out of debt and become financially stable, just as we read in Romans 13:8, “Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.” ~Heather Williams Katz
