Bible College Students

I’ve heard my husband Charlie say that during the earliest days of the mission he used to wonder how the church, full of mainly children, would take root. Amazingly, it did!
Obed St. Vil, an assistant pastor in our Flon church, says his church is also primarily children. He not only works with the children in Sunday school, but also helps lead the church and preaches. He accepted the Lord as his Savior after the 2010 earthquake. The Lord used a dream of a Haitian missionary group preaching in Obedʼs yard—then giving him a Bible and song book to bring him to salvation. He loves the Lord and is attending Bible college because he wants to not only gain knowledge and skill in preaching, but to be able to train the children in his church effectively.
Evens Auguste is also active in his church—our Bossier campus. He is part of the church leadership, helps lead services, and preaches. He’s thankful for the opportunity afforded him to attend the Bible college, and feels very satisfied with what he’s learning to become a better servant for God. ~Rachel DeTellis
