God has blessed New Missions in Haiti with many godly leaders who perform their responsibilities faithfully and with integrity day in and day out—just like Joseph in the Bible.

Potiphar, Joseph’s master, trusted him and did not have to worry about anything except what to eat, with Joseph working for him. Osmique, our warehouse manager, reminds me of Joseph; this year he will complete 20 years of employment with New Missions. When Charlie is not able to be there, he receives truckloads of valuable food and supplies…even containers shipped from the U.S. He also oversees distributions from the warehouse and daily disbursements of construction supplies. His faithful character shines brightly.

Anyone who has met Osmique knows his easy-going ways, pleasant nature, and amazing smile. He loves the Lord, was baptized in 2008, and serves in the Bord-Mer church. It was a serious childhood illness that drove him and his family to the Lord. He attended New Missions schools until 12th grade and was first employed as a yard helper. Over time, his responsibilities grew and now his uprightness and service are a blessing each day. ~Rachel DeTellis
