Students in Ministry
// Rachel DeTellis
There’s a common thread that goes through the stories of students I’ve interviewed; they attend church.
Our school directors (pastors) encourage their students to attend church. God is using this to raise up new workers in ministry.
Dely Frantz Baptist has been a part of the Masson church ever since he was a youngster, even though his family were unbelievers and didn’t attend church with him. Because of hearing God’s Word in church and at school, he’s chosen to follow Jesus and was baptized in 2018. He wants to work for God. He began helping in a Sunday school class and now he’s the teacher of 20-25 kids.
Valdinio Maccius’ mother died in 2008 and his father is an absent parent, so he has been raised by his grandmother. She faithfully took him to church in Neply. He loved the worship music and began hanging out with the musicians during practice. He learned how to play the drums and has been playing in church for a year.
We’re thankful God’s Word is bearing fruit in the lives of our students as they hear it faithfully taught each week. ~Rachel DeTellis
