John Bosio Castillo started coming to Colegio Nueva Vida in seventh grade. When he was 16 years old he accepted Christ one day in his church.
A year later, he was riding on the back of a motorbike and was hit by an SUV. The driver of the motorbike lost control of the bike and a large truck hit them. Everyone who came to the scene of the accident believed John was dead. But God had other plans! After spending two months in the hospital, John was discharged but still needed more surgery and months of recuperation. His classmates and others in the community donated money to help cover his medical bills.
John is especially thankful for the prayers and support from his mom and family after his motorbike accident.
What seemed like the worst thing that could happen to someone, God used for good in John’s life. He says the accident completely changed him for the better because he saw how God restored him to health, even when the doctors believed there was no hope. Last year, he graduated from college with a degree in Systems Engineering. He is currently working at a cell phone store and is engaged to a beautiful Christian woman named Alondra Infante. We praise the Lord for how He has worked in John’s life! ~Heather Williams Katz
