Because of government regulations last school year, our students could not come to campus and had to study from home.

This was extremely difficult for parents, students, and teachers. However, our teachers and school staff did an absolutely amazing job staying in contact with students and their parents, and did all they could do to remove any barriers that would prevent students from being able to learn.

Fifth grader Yveloure Dularier is happy to be back in class learning from her teachers and sharing with friends.

We rejoice because the Dominican government permitted classes to begin on campus again in September. Not only are the teachers and school directors thrilled that the students can come to class again, but the students are delighted, too! All of our students, including fifth grader Yveloure Dularier, who attends our school in Los Castillos, are happy to be back in the classrooms learning from their teachers and sharing with their friends. School Director Keyla Mercado reports that the parents are also happy, willing, and ready to help at the school. Please continue to pray for the health of all of our students, teachers, and staff. We are thankful to be sharing God’s love with our students again in person! ~Heather Williams Katz
