One person can make a difference. Five-year-old Kweicha Leyna Fontaine hopes that one person will be you.

Kweicha loves playing with her dolls and going to school. However, she faces many challenges because she lives in Haiti. Yet, her father proudly shares, “There’s hope in Haiti because of Jesus and New Missions.”

If you’ve gone on a mission trip to Haiti, you’ve probably met Kweicha’s dad, Jean Marc Fontaine. You definitely can’t miss his big smile! His passion for his faith and his family is contagious! Jean Marc attended New Missions schools since he was nine years old, and now passionately works for our ministry. He’s married and has four children. Two of his children attend New Missions schools. His son is sponsored, but his daughter, Kweicha, is still waiting for a sponsor.

Jean Marc knows the power of one. One person promised to invest in his future, and it changed his life forever. Now, his daughter needs one person to transform her life. Like many parents, Jean Marc dreams big for his children. He prays his children grow up loving and serving the Lord, and hopes his daughter will become a nurse. Kweicha and so many children like her are still looking for that one person God will use to impact their lives. Will it be you? If you would like to sponsor Kweicha, contact our office at (407) 240-4058. ~Christine Batchelder
