The security of the Gospel is the greatest message we can share.

Jesus is still the answer for our world today. Currently, New Missions is building a new church in Flon, Haiti, and the progress has been impressive over the past several months. Our Haitian team of 10 construction workers, including carpenters, have just finished making the roof trusses and installing the metal roof.

Our painters are finishing the gables and adding final touches to the exterior of the church.

New Missions is focused and passionate about the Gospel. Currently, we are building the church in Flon and expanding the church in Masson. Then, we have two churches to build in Vieux-Court and Chateau. Building a church in Haiti is like putting a lighthouse on the shoreline. People hear the Good News and find refuge. “Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him.” (Psalm 34:8)

A stage will be built out of concrete, and wooden church benches will be made in Haiti at our mission.

On July 7, 1990, my father, Pastor George DeTellis, wrote an article for our monthly newsletter titled Unprecedented Times. Here is the closing paragraph: “Before the return of the Lord, I believe that there will be a mighty wave of world evangelism. Are you wanting to be in the forefront of what God is doing in the world? Let us be on the crest of the wave. Let us be about our Father’s business.”

We currently provide employment to a full-time team of 10 construction workers in Haiti.

Today, I raise my hand and say, “Yes, Lord. Use me to share the Gospel to all people.” ~Tim DeTellis
