Feeding Families During Uncertainty
// Tim DeTellis
During this challenging season, we are sending students home with food for their families.
We want you to know we are staying steadfast in our mission to serve children and families in Haiti and the Dominican Republic through our 35 churches and schools.
Rest assured, we are monitoring every campus and as of this writing, all of our children are well, safe, and unaffected by the coronavirus, COVID-19.
Today, Charlie DeTellis is still in Haiti leading the mission. He is working with a wonderful team of Haitians who live locally to serve at all of our schools and churches. In the Dominican Republic, Heather and her husband, Arismendy, are leading our team of Dominicans to love and serve families across the North Coast.
God is still at work and the children in Haiti and the Dominican Republic need our help now more than ever. We see the local church as the greatest force for good.
Our hope and our prayer is that through this, God will be glorified and more people will come to have a personal relationship with Jesus. He is our refuge. He is our hope! “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.ˮ (Psalm 46:1). Thank you for standing steadfast with us during this time. May God bless you and keep you safe. We love you! ~Tim DeTellis
