We are excited! After many challenges and months of hard work, the school building in Los Castillos is finally finished, and classes will begin there this month.

Students, parents, and teachers are just thrilled! Many of the students are moving from the school we used to run in Redemption Village, which is a poor village of mostly Haitians. These students will be joined by new students from Los Castillos. They will be able to enjoy a library, playground, and beautiful classrooms with a view of the mountains. Our teachers are busy decorating the classrooms and organizing everything for when classes begin.

The teachers are putting up a mural with the months of the year in one of the preschool classrooms. Our students, teachers, and directors are so excited and happy for classes to begin later this month.

We are very thankful to our generous donors who helped make this dream a reality! God has already touched the lives of many through our church and school in Los Castillos. Recently, 23 children and teens accepted Christ at a day camp held on our campus! This camp was hosted by a group that comes yearly with the Christian comedian, David Dean. Glory be to God! We look forward to continuing the work He has begun in the lives of these…and all the children here. ~Heather Williams Katz
