The Values Driving Us

This month, we celebrate our 35th anniversary and I cannot help but reflect upon our core values.
I sat down with my father, who founded New Missions, just prior to his passing on June 26, 2008, to write out what I had observed our organization doing to impact the lives of others. These are our seven core values:
Together, we are:
Preaching the Gospel…because only God changes lives forever.
Giving Generously…because we steward what’s not ours.
Focusing for Impact…because excellence requires our priority and attention.
Only Fearing God…because we report to God and He is our ultimate strength and provision.
Making Disciples…because this is the true measurement of success.
Doing the Right Thing…because our integrity and trust with others is our reputation.
Listening to God…because He knows what’s best for us so we humbly seek Him.
Together, we are giving generously, because we steward what’s not ours.
Through upholding these values and being faithful over time, today our graduates are pastors, teachers, attorneys, doctors, nurses, and business owners who are scattered around the world making an impact where they live and work.
Each classroom becomes the environment where discipleship happens in the lives of our students.
Together, we are preaching the Gospel, because only God changes lives forever.
