Who doesn’t love a good party where friends gather with excitement in the air?
The only thing that can make a good party even better is adding purpose. If your church is looking for an opportunity to share the best news of ALL this Christmas, consider hosting a Shoebox Packing Party; a party with a purpose. A shoebox gift given to our students in Haiti is a marvelous way to offer spiritual truth and meet a physical need.

Bring your families together to be part of something bigger and bless the lives of the families of New Missions.
Here are some ideas as you get started: First, choose a date for your packing party and invite family and friends! Next, you’ll want to assemble a list of items to purchase or gather. Finally, collect your shoebox-sized containers to fill. Consider choosing a special Bible verse to enclose with each box. For your packing party, decorate...play Christmas carols...and have some snacks to make the event fun!
Your group can collect calculators, school supplies, hygiene items, and fun toys to pack inside your shoeboxes. Your shoebox gifts will help share the Gospel with thousands of kids through New Missions this year.
As you pack your gifts of essentials and toys for children in need, please pray over each box. Ask the Lord to bless the child who will receive this shoebox gift—that they’d be touched by His love and changed by the Gospel.
