Giving out Christmas shoeboxes and the gifts you send to your sponsored child is such a joy! I wish you could be here to see the huge smiles on their faces when they receive them.
Every letter and gift you send to your sponsored child is special and serves as a reminder of how important they are to God. Laira Padilla recently graduated from our high school. She fondly remembers the letters and gifts that she received from her sponsor, Serena Gralla. As Laira so wonderfully states, the letters made her feel happy, appreciated, and motivated to keep doing well in school and to keep learning about God. In every letter Serena sent she always told me that I was beautiful, that she loved me, and that God loved me, too!
The gifts and letters you send are a highlight in the life of your sponsored child.
Laira is now working with us and is in charge of our child sponsorship program. She gets to give the letters and gifts you send to your sponsored child and share in their joy and excitement.
