Sometimes our prayer request may be a simple need.

But then, there are those heartbreaking situations when our prayer request is an immediate need of a supernatural healing, or deliverance, or provision. In these circumstances, I often find my heart overwhelmed. I must talk to Jesus. I must find a Word to anchor my faith. I can even use the theology in a hymn to support my weakness to believe, such as, “Leaning on Jesus.” The Word that inspired the writer of this hymn is Deut. 33:27, “The Eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. . .”

Kids sponsoring kids is an answered prayer as we reach the next generation.

There are disappointments and broken dreams. There are the questions. We need to have our family in Christ to support us in prayer, in warfare, to reach the throne of God and to see our Savior, Healer, Provider do a supernatural work.

Our churches are at the center of fostering a spirit of worship and surrender to God.

In these days of increasing evil and of waning faith, we need to stand strong with every weapon to fight against the enemy. In Ephesians 6:11 we read, “Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.” We discipline our mind and mouth to take one more step.

God’s provision for our mission is possible because of faith and prayer.
