We often start a day with prayer, a meal with prayer, a trip with prayer.

We consider it a way to dedicate our lives or a specific endeavor to His direction and guidance. We thank Him and believe Him for our provision. For the past several years, New Missions has started the year with 21 Days of Prayer. This year, we will begin on January 6, 2021. The first week will focus on the work in Haiti, the second will concentrate on the ministry in the Dominican Republic, and the final week will be dedicated to the support team—our home office in Orlando, Florida.

Thank you for praying for Charlie and Rachel DeTellis who graciously serve at our mission in Haiti.

Please pray for Arismendy, Heather, and Max Katz as they serve our mission and staff in the Dominican Republic so well.

Psalm 90:17 is a scripture and a prayer: “May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us—yes, establish the work of our hands.” We pray this because our work is a spiritual work. This word “establish” means to give permanence to. A phrase I have also heard more than once at our home office is: “We want to build something that will outlast us.”

Between Haiti and the DR we employ over 600 nationals. We ask you to keep them in your prayers, as well.

Would you join us as we look with hope to all that God wants to do in 2021? Prayer is not limited to three weeks, so please feel free to start anytime! You can sign up for our 21 Days of Prayer at newmissions.org/prayer. ~Holly Manna
