Thank you to each person who packed a shoebox for the children of New Missions.

The joy of watching children receive their shoebox gifts in person is so inspiring. Each box is filled with surprises and many gifts to share with family members.

Students praying at our schools continue to be a spiritual force for God’s favor. As our cargo containers filled with shoebox gifts arrive in the capital city of Port-au-Prince, we notify our students in Haiti to begin praying for their speedy release from customs.

Former missionaries with New Missions, Ken and Kim Carroll, served by processing shoeboxes in Orlando. Thanks to all of our volunteers!

When the tractor-trailer begins the drive down the three-mile gravel road to the mission warehouses in Bord-Mer, children come out of the villages to cheer it along, as they know who will be receiving these gifts. Their homes and friends will be blessed and encouraged by the love packed inside each box.

We are thankful to report all of our students in Haiti will receive a shoebox gift. Extra shoebox gifts will be used this summer as our Haitian churches make mission trips across Haiti, sharing the love of Christ. In addition, we will be sending shoebox gifts to the island of La Gonâve. Please save the dates for our 2018 Shoebox Drive: Oct. 1—Dec. 31. ~Tim DeTellis
