As we all have been reminded during this pandemic, our physical health is something to be cherished.
At our health center in the Dominican Republic, we offer free health consultations and medicines for everyone—regardless of their race, color, or beliefs. It is because of the great care we provide that people often travel from over an hour away to be treated. They appreciate the efficient and compassionate care.
The compassionate care our medical staff provides brings people from far away to be treated at our health center.
We thank the Lord that last year we were able to help more than 4,000 people at our health center. Our staff are Christians and they minister to people medically as well as emotionally and spiritually. As our director Llennifer Santos Morrobel notes, people often come and just need someone to talk to. Our staff takes the time to listen to their stories and pray with them. We are also praising the Lord that we were able to hire a specialist in December who comes once a week to our clinic and performs ultrasounds. It is such a blessing to care for and minister to those in the community. God is working through the health center to help those who are hurting. ~Heather Williams Katz
