The churches in Haiti are the backbone of the mission.

We are always thankful for the faithful service and leadership of our pastors, but especially during these perilous times in Haiti. The Vieux Court church and school are led by Pastor Michel Souverain. He pastors about 500 people and has 450 students in the school. Through generous gifts, the mission was able to purchase land, and a church was constructed in 2013. More recently, a donor helped with other projects needed to complete and enhance the campus.

Pastor Michel is blessed with a godly wife and daughter. His wife helps with worship and their daughter in children's ministry. The truth of God's Word being proclaimed every week is changing lives in Vieux Court, Haiti!

The church has special ministry times for children, youth, men, and women. In late October, they had a conference with spiritual warfare as the theme. Faith is alive! One testimony from the church comes from a deacon, Pierre Antoine. He was unable to walk without crutches. He was scheduled for surgery but was never able to get to the hospital because of ongoing unrest. The church began praying for his healing and God blessed him with a healing without surgery! Please continue praying for our churches, schools, and for change in the country of Haiti. ~Rachel DeTellis
