Teens for Christ

During the past year, we have encountered many challenges as the pandemic continues to affect every aspect of our lives.
In spite of this, we have seen the Lord working in amazing ways here in the Dominican Republic! In January, we started a youth Bible program at our church in Playa Chiquita. This class is well attended and many teens have accepted Christ! When schools started again in September, we were able to start an additional youth Bible program at our church in Los Castillos.

Because of these programs, many teenagers’ lives are changing. Recently, at one class in Playa Chiquita, only a few students attended along with the teacher because there was so much rain. The class normally meets in our open pavilion, but the wind and blowing rain forced them to find cover in one of the bathrooms. As they sang and praised God, they felt His presence and one of the teenagers accepted Christ right then! Please continue to pray for the leaders of these programs and for the teenagers who regularly attend…that more will come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior. ~Heather Williams Katz
