Reading God's Word
// Heather Williams Katz
This year, we have continued to work with our Christian student leadership group to equip them to become Christian leaders with a strong faith in Christ.
Recently, they had the opportunity to hear Jamie Williams share his experience about living in a cave for two years to study the Bible. As you can imagine, our students had many questions and were excited to hear what he had to share. He encouraged all of them to read through the entire Bible.
We wanted to give our students a small taste of what it is like to read and study God’s Word, so we took them on a day trip to a house in the country to read the Bible. The students divided into different areas and were given the assignment to read Galatians and Ephesians. After the students read through the two books, everyone came together to discuss what had been read. The students really enjoyed the exercise and it has motivated them to keep reading their Bible daily. Please continue to pray for our students as they grow in their relationship with God and face many challenges and decisions as teenagers. ~Heather Williams Katz
