David Youssi from Georgia completed an irrigation project in Haiti with New Missions. He used several local Haitian men to install a pop-up sprinkler system to water the crops. A water pump was placed in the stream—which provides water for the two-acre parcel of land next to our mission warehouses. This land will serve as a test for what we can grow in Haiti. It will also be a location where our trade school students can come and learn about farming and livestock. We plan to sow the crops late fall.
