Bertha Rojas Quintana began her education at our school in Redemption Village and continued on to our high school, graduating in 2022.

She accepted Christ as a child while attending church. During high school, Bertha excelled academically and was an active member of our Leaders for Christ group. She is grateful for the high-quality education she received in a Christian environment, which helped her grow in her faith.

Bertha's high school graduation where she received recognition for her years being part of the Leaders for Christ group.

After graduating, we offered Bertha a position as an assistant teacher at one of our schools. Her dedication and passion for teaching quickly made her an invaluable team member. Alongside her teaching job, she started a small business selling clothes. For the past two years, she has been working to obtain her Dominican ID card, a challenging process because she is of Haitian descent. Despite these obstacles, Bertha has remained steadfast in her faith and determination. We praise the Lord that she has finally obtained her Dominican ID, allowing her to pursue university studies here. We ask for your prayers and support as we continue to nurture Christian leaders like Bertha. ~Heather Williams Katz
