I thank Jesus for the safe arrival of two containers in Haiti.

There were many challenges with receiving these containers. I prolonged my stay in Haiti twice—being in Haiti much longer than I anticipated this summer. I love Haiti and enjoyed the work every day. Designated shoebox gifts were first picked up by all of our schools. Then, they picked up all other shoebox gifts which will be given to each of our students. Every school received the shoebox gifts during the month of June. We also received a large amount of new clothing, shoes, and medical supplies that will be distributed through our churches.

Each year, we deliver shoebox gifts to all of our schools thanks to your love and generosity.

Thank you for packing shoeboxes for our high school and blessing the older students.

I am continually astonished by the level of poverty that I see in Haiti. Thankfully, I was able to help several people with medical needs. Some Haitian families do not have funding for shelter, food, and medical care. The economy in Haiti is very bad with few jobs. I truly felt more accountable for all that I have. We really need to keep our Savior as our main focus whether we have a lot or a little.

Unloading the cases of shoebox gifts into our warehouse is the first step before sending them to our schools.

All of the supplies on the containers will be a blessing to the Haitian people, as they are valuable and greatly needed. We are thankful the children were able to receive these gifts before the school year came to a close. ~Charlie DeTellis
