Alumni working in Haiti represent hope in a very challenging environment.

Our graduates’ stories range from becoming teachers, doctors, pastors, attorneys, engineers, nurses, business owners…and great employees of other organizations and companies. Our vision is to raise a generation of Christian leaders.

“I’m teaching new leaders in Haiti because we need change.” ~Genel Issac, Teacher of the Month.

Genel Issac accepted Jesus as his personal Savior on April 20, 2008 while attending the New Missions church in downtown Leogane. He graduated from New Missions in 2010 and was just recognized as Teacher of the Month at New Missions in February 2022.

"New Missions began a revolution in the mind." ~Jonas Bertrand who works as an attorney and judge.

Jonas Bertrand, at the age of eleven, was given away by his parents to be a child servant. They did not have enough money to feed him so they brought him to the capitol city of Port-au-Prince to serve in a home. When his parents heard New Missions was opening a school in their village and children could attend for free, they went to find Jonas. After enrolling him in the New Missions school, they learned he could eat as much as he wanted for lunch. Today in Haiti, Jonas is an attorney and judge. He has also served as the deputy mayor in the town of Leogane where New Missions is established.

“My sponsors Robert & Joyce Sylvester gave me this opportunity.” ~Jean Kenson Pierre; teacher, currently attending seminary.

Pray for our students today because they are becoming the leaders Haiti needs. ~Tim DeTellis
