The focus and priority of New Missions is to preach the Gospel. In that context, we often find ourselves in ministries such as education and healthcare—to express the full Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Education is one of our most successful means to see children come to hear and to know Jesus as their Savior. Children develop a loving relationship with their teachers. Our teachers were once hungry children who responded to God. Now, they teach with dedicated love and passionate purpose to reach the next generation.

What happens in school is life-changing! Recently, our Dominican Republic director told me a story of one of our students participating in a lesson on honesty. The Bible clearly teaches “do not steal.” The boy confided to his teacher that his parents asked him to steal a pair of shoes. Because this boy is experiencing love and truth in his Christian school, a foundation is being built for him to have a successful future, and morality to be blessed and be a blessing.

Thank you for your love and passion to see miracles multiplied in the lives of children—one child at a time. ~Jeanne DeTellis Loudon
