School Desks and Church Benches

Throughout the year, our churches and schools receive new church benches and classroom desks.
The entire construction of the school desks and church benches is accomplished by Haitians—including the welding of the legs onto the church benches—which is accomplished by a graduate of New Missions.
Our carpenter, Joseph Elson Clergeau (his nick name is Sonny), is building church benches at our mission.
The school desks receive a final painting with bright colors such as yellow, blue, green, or red.
When you make a special gift to our “Where Needed Most” fund, you help us continue projects such as making school desks and church benches. The church benches are sanded smooth and topped off with a clear varnish. The school desks receive a final painting with bright colors such as yellow, blue, green, or red.
