Spoons for Haiti

Host a collection of spoons at your school, VBS, church, or office—to provide spoons for school children in Haiti to enjoy their hot lunch.

New Missions provides a hearty cooked meal at school. But, there are rules—good ones to protect their health. Each student must wash their hands before eating. We do not want them to eat with their hands due to the health risks, even if this is how they eat at home. It’s hard to imagine how special a spoon can be, but for a child living in Haiti, a spoon represents the opportunity to enjoy a lunch without using their hands. Simply a spoon...what a blessing we can be to others with something so small.
