You still have time to pack and ship a shoebox...

Dear Friends of New Missions,

Since 1983, we have served in the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, Haiti. This year we are sharing a special blessing to over 9,000 of our school children by delivering Christmas Shoeboxes!

We are happy to announce that we've extended the Christmas Shoebox Drive until December 20. We need additional shoeboxes for unsponsored children. So there is still time for you to send us your shoebox.

If words could describe the joy of this process, it would be easy to say, "Thank you!" for your involvement. But, those words do not come close. We can feel the love and prayers that arrive with each shoebox. It is a wonderful expression of God's love for each of the children who will be extra blessed this Christmas.

You can send a Christmas shoebox to
your sponsor child with New Missions or
one of our children waiting for a sponsor.

headquarters at our Orlando office processing the daily
arrivals of shoeboxes from sponsors for their children.

Small toys: Coloring books, crayons, dolls, small cars, dominoes, playing cards, jump ropes, balls (deflated with possibly a small pump & needle for a soccer ball or basketball), yo-yo's, stuffed animals, stickers, marbles, checkers, Etch A Sketch, etc.

School supplies: Pens, pencils & sharpener, markers, spiral notebooks, solar calculator, rulers, erasers, etc.

Musical items: Harmonica, recorder, kazoo, or small tambourine, etc.

Hygiene items: Toothbrush, toothpaste, bar soap, washcloth, hand towel, hair brush, comb, nail file and clippers, deodorant, etc.

Clothing: Socks and underwear (or undergarments), light-weight clothing (t-shirts, sundresses, shorts with elastic band) and braided belts (boys), flip-flop sandals, ball caps, sun visors, sunglasses, etc.

Other items: Christmas card for your sponsor child, family photos, wristwatch, hair accessories (clips, barrettes, ribbons, elastics), costume jewelry, flashlight (with extra batteries or solar powered/wind-up), compact umbrella, etc.

Please do not send: Medications or vitamins, candles, perishable foods, chocolate, liquids or lotions, no breakables or glass containers, aerosol cans, military items - such as toy guns, knives, or rubber snakes, etc.

1. Address the shoebox to: New Missions, 8054 Presidents Drive, Orlando, FL 32809

2. On the outside of the shoebox, write your child's name and identification number.

3. Place your check inside the box, but visible on top of the contents. Make your check payable to New Missions for $5 to cover the overseas shipping. Please do not send cash.

The shoeboxes are backed in boxes for each of our schools.
We process the shoebox, inspect the contents, then assemble them
together by school, and then they will go on the container early November for Haiti.
